Should Article 2 Section 1 be amended?
What do you think about "Turbo Man" telling everyone on 60 Minutes that he'd run for president if only he could. I just saw him in Jingle All the Way and he has some awesome powers. That would really make 012 really interesting.

"Pay to Play"
The governor of Illinois (Mr. Blagojevich) is under federal arrest for what's being called a "new low" in political corruption. Do you think he was trying to sell the Senate seat vacated by President-Elect Obama? Or is this politics as usual? Did you hear what it was "selling" for on E-Bay? What do you think will happen in Illinois? Should they hold a special election?

How About Some Good O' Pork?
President-elect Obama said "the days of just pork coming out of Congress as a strategy" are over. What conditions do you think the auto industry should meet in order to receive a loan from the government? What should President Bush do?

Save Detroit?
Can anyone rescue the U.S. automakers? Do you think Congress will give in to the auto industry? What about the Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, will he use any of the 350 billion left from the 700 billion to rescue the industry? Or should he rescue "main street" America with lower mortgage rates (a new deal) so they don't lose their homes? Is there anything the Big Three can do to make their products more attractive? So many problems, er questions. Whose problems are they anyway?

Mumbai, India - Is terrorism Evolving?
India has blamed "elements from Pakistan" for the attacks that killed 179 people in Mumbai. Should the Indian government expect strong reaction to be taken against those responsible for the attacks? Could this attack have been prevented?

Now what?
The longest presidential season in U.S. history - 21 months! Now what? What will you remember most about this election? Will this turn out to be a "permanent" realignment between red and blue states?

Ted Stevens is found guilty. Will he serve time in the Senate or in prison?
A jury found Sen. Ted Stevens of Alaska guilty on all seven counts of making false statements on disclosure forms. Should he step down or appeal his case? Stay tune to his debate on Wednesday. I wonder what the "maverick" wants?

Inauguration Day's Unemployed
January 20, 2009 a new president will be inaugurated. Along with this new president, will come new cabinet members. That same day, George W. Bush will be done, so will his cabinet. In the days after that they will become unemployed citizens. An article on Condoleezza Rice's possible new job as team president for an NFL franchise, the San Fransisco 49ers, sparked my question. (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/rumors/post/Condoleezza-Rice-up-for-front-office-position-wi;_ylt=AvGh6GU9wy6YXNs6TXbBq0.X2bYF?urn=nfl,117401) Where do you think these the soon-to-be-unemployed political figures will end up?

The war in Afghanistan isn't going well. Britain's top commander "We're not going to win this war," and the latest U.S. National Intelligence Estimate notes that the country is in a "downward spiral." What! What do you think should be done?

What do you think is the most important issue in the presidential election today?
AP Tip: Respond to this question tonight and think in an orthodox or progressive manner.

Vote today?
During the next few weeks, at least 34 states and the District of
Columbia will allow early in-person voting for Nov. 4 elections. What used to be a 72-hour get-out-the-vote effort has become a 720-hour program. At Ohio State young voters are voting early in large numbers. Could this be the election where the "youth vote" will actually have an impact?

The "nay" vote heard around the world
The biggest drop ever follows divided House's rejection of a $700 billion bailout plan. Are you surprised of the outcome? D 140 Y and 95 N
R 65 Y and 133 N
The Dow plunges 778 points - biggest point drop ever. Enough to wipe out 1.2 trillion in stock market wealth.

Debate Night!
Don't forget to watch the debate tonight. I think it starts at 9;00. The East/West game should be over by then. East 24 West 10. And don't forget to bring the chips and dip.
To debate or not to debate?
Why is John McCain refusing to debate? Is it a political stunt or is he too busy dealing with the nation's financial crisis?
Mo Money, Please.
What role should our government play in the Wall Street fallout? Should we ride the big wave or do we just sit back and let it roll?

Hillary, Paris, Britney and now Sarah!
Sarah is so renowned that she is known merely by one name and is a bigger draw than John McCain. What a selection! Do you think she is qualified to be president?

Where's W?
Does it really matter that he did not attend the Republican Convention? Why should an incumbent President be featured at his own party's convention? What do you think?

So what is the true meaning of patroitism?
I can't believe all the negative stuff on the internet and it's ability to spread so easily. Do you think one candidate is more patriotic than the other? If only I had a summer school class.
