Should Article 2 Section 1 be amended?
What do you think about "Turbo Man" telling everyone on 60 Minutes that he'd run for president if only he could. I just saw him in Jingle All the Way and he has some awesome powers. That would really make 012 really interesting.
Article 2 Section 1: "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."
Ahhhnold as president would be entertaining "President Terminator '012" and possibly as an incumbent "I'll be back, '016".
This actor changed to politician as California Governor eventually becoming president sounds a little like Reagen. Who knows, he may be a great president--if it were possible for him. I do like this similarity between Schwarzenegger and Reagen. None the less, the thought of President Shwarzenmyfingersgettiredtypinghisname is entertaining.
...but, I don't believe Article 2 Section 1 should be amended because as a democracy, dictators like Kim Jong Il, Hugo Chavez or Benito Mussolini or could become eligible to run for the US Presidential Office, given they are over 35 years old and lived for 14+ years in the US (amended version).
If Arnold wanted to be president, he should become a US citizen. The constitution explicitly states that a citizen of the United States would be eligible to become president, given he meets the other requirements.
There is no need for an amendment for Ahhhnold Schwarzengiggle. If he were 100% serious about becoming the president, he would do what he could in his power to become it. That would mean undergoing the process to become a US Citizen.
As soon as he does that, the Presidential Office is fair game... Then he could put his Turbo Man powers to use on the campaign trail to take down his arch nemesis opponent, Dementor-crat.
It looks like I wrote a lot, but I think it was b/c of all the big words.... By the way, Merry Christmas and Happy New Years, but only to the people that take the time to read my last blog post thoroughly.

But i think this turbo man thing is a complete joke! I think he is just trying to make a name for himself and he is trying to make more interesting by saying this. He is not for real. He should just stick to the movie buisness.
Arnold has been a governor and a pretty successful one at that. I think he should be given the chance at the presidency. People may not vote for him but he should at least be able to run. He's been a citizen for long enough. It should be amended so that if you are a citizen of the US for a certain amount of time then you get regular priveleges like everyone else.
