Vote today?

During the next few weeks, at least 34 states and the District of
Columbia will allow early in-person voting for Nov. 4 elections. What used to be a 72-hour get-out-the-vote effort has become a 720-hour program. At Ohio State young voters are voting early in large numbers. Could this be the election where the "youth vote" will actually have an impact?

America's young voters, traditionally seem apathetic but they are becoming more active voters. With more young people voting it cause a greater turn out at the polls for young people.

Young voters have generally lacked in numbers. This year, early voting is encouraging young people to vote. Young voters are obviously going to impact the election because every year, politicians and celebrities are trying to get the youth to vote. Remember the "Vote or Die" campaign?

ofcourse the youth vote is make an impact. thats what makes this country great. every vote counts. i think that young voters are more aware of the fact that they can vote and how important their vote is so i think that there will be a much larger voter turn out.

I think more young voters are getting involved and that is espcially apparent at Ohio State. I do believe that the young voters have a voice in this up coming election and I believe that they will be heard.

Yes I do believe that the early vote will allow more young voters to cast their ballots. But I think there may be more to it. People like being part of history. No matter who wins history will be made, so I think younger voters want to vote so they can look back on this election and say I was there. So early voting and history being made will cause a higher, or maybe the highest, young voter turnout.

i do believe that the youth will have a huge inpact on this election. With all the new "firsts" such as African American and female candidates i think that everyone wants to be a part of it in someway or another.

I think that people should not be ale to vote early because there is still one debate. I know most people have made up their minds, but something bud could happen before Nov. 4th that sways the votes and if you had already voted your out of luck. I do think that this will get more youth to vote though.

young voters have come a long way with the elections. Now obama has been the first president in history to post advertisements on youth games such as grand theft auto and madden. so yes the youth has made an impact and obama seems to have made a right choice to jump on it.
