Hillary, Paris, Britney and now Sarah!
Sarah is so renowned that she is known merely by one name and is a bigger draw than John McCain. What a selection! Do you think she is qualified to be president?
Her having that much hype is great for the Republican ticket, and I also think it's smart keeping her away from the press right now because she is such a popular figure and they wouldn't be at all forgiving about anything that she says. Her gun toting hockey mom image and story of being a mom of a teenage daughter is doing just fine with conservatives and some independents at the moment, so why risk it by letting her speak.
Now if McCain could only distance himself more from 8 years of Republican rule leading us to economic turmoil, we'd have a better race for the White House.
But, Palin not saying much to the press, gives off the impression that she isn't ready to become the Vice President. She hasn't been Governor of Alaska for even two years, it seems as though she is just not ready.
It's a smart pick due to the positive attention she draws to the McCain campaign, but I wouldn't want her in charge of my country. I don't think she's qualified to lead a nation. Being in charge of the biggest state geograophically is irrelevant. The less people she has to govern, the less problems she will theoretically have to face. I don't buy into her being experienced.
her being that popular shoukld swing some votes an the campaign. but is she qualified? i dont think so. she hasnt had much experience in an office and i dont believe that the us is ready for a woman president
That is why McCain picked her becasue he knew how big she would be. She is not qualified to be president though because she has not even been governor for two years so she is nowhere near ready to become president if something happened to McCain. I think she shoulds focus on her family first instead of running for V.P.
Nowadays it isn't exactly something to be proud of to be known by one name, and in Sarah's case it's really not. She is mostly known for her daughter getting pregnant. I don't think she is fit to be president and I really do not want to see her take office. Ever.

I meant to say "pregnant" teenage daughter.
