The "American Dream"

Should our government help homeowners facing foreclosure or struggling to make their mortgage payments?

Have a great weekend.

I said it in the last blog... "Support should go to those who are truly struggling to keep their homes. Not the home "flippers", those mooching off of the government, or those blatantly living outside of their financial means. If there is an individual having issues with negative equity or other home financial commitments, refinance, it happens every day."

That being said, I believe there should be help--depending on the individual's situation.

I believe the government needs to help homeowners that are facing foreclosure and whatever. we cant just let all these people get kicked into the streets. get them help! I just think if the government can help these people, they should do everything possible to do so

I agree with milks. If people who are out of jobs are struggling to keep their house then the government should help them. But if its one of those people who buys 2 houses and tries to sell one of them then they screwed over we shouldnt help them. The american dream is to own a house and we need to help people keep their dream alive!

I think that the gov should help out homeowners. I mean it's not their fault if they got laid off or had other extenuating circumstances. so the gov should help except for the stupid people who are just trying to flip houses.
