The Justice Department says the CIA destroyed 92 videotapes from the agency's detainee interrogation program, a far larger number than previously know. How should the Obama administration pursue allegations of wrongdoing against officials in the Bush administration? CIA Director Leon Panetta said he opposed prosecuting CIA officers who followed legal advice in putting suspects through such tactics as water-boarding. Is water-boarding torture? If not, should we continue to use this tactic?
According to Time: 700 people applied for one janitorial job at an Ohio junior high school.

The Obama administration should take action about these tapes being destroyed. No-matter-what, if tapes were being destroyed there was definitely something shady going down. I'm not sure how far the prosecution can go without these tapes, but there should be an investigation.
In my opinion, water-boarding is torture. Wikipedia states that water-boarding is, "...pouring water over the face and into the breathing passages. By forced suffocation and inhalation of water the subject experiences drowning and is caused to believe they are about to die." It's torture.
I believe the Obama administration should pursue some sort of action. I believe it should be obvious to look into because there is a reason the tapes are being destroyed. There is something that these people dont want the american public to see which is why they destroyed them I agree with milks, there is something fishy going on for sure.
And yes water boarding is torture. When water is being dumped on someones face to cause suffocation, i would consider that torture!
I hate to use a TV show but does anybody else watch 24? What if a terrorist knows information that could save American lives? Will you trade the comfort of a suspected terrorist for American lives?
There had to have been a reason the tapes were destroyed. like Milks and Nate both said, something fishy had to have been going down. If there was significant information on those tapes we are out of luck now that they are gone. There had to have been something behind the destroying of them.
Water-boarding IS TORTURE! Its practically drowning someone and making them think they are going to die!?!? Thats insane there is no possible way that cannot be defined as torture
