Mo Money, Please.

What role should our government play in the Wall Street fallout? Should we ride the big wave or do we just sit back and let it roll?

I think that the government should help Wall Street because it is the right thing to do; help people that need it.

OK. We are in an economic crisis. There is no denying that. But the government should not bail them out! Think about this, what type of government controls the economy and markets.....hmmm.... oh yeah that would be SOCIALISM! We should not become what we fought for the last half a decade. Let them crash, the economy will suffer for a bit, then it will recover. That is better than putting a 700 billion dollar burden on taxpayers and then still having the economy crash.

I don't think we should get involved in the Wall Street crisis. We have our own problems to deal with right now. We shouldn't get in over our heads.

But that is what this country does. They help people when they need it so the government should help Wall Street because if it crashes the economy will not just suffer a little it will suffer A LOT!!! The government should do whatever they can to stop it from crashing again. I mean look what happened last time it crashed. It
was terrible. The government could help a little then back off so then it won't be socialism. Sometimes people get over their heads and need help.
