The Senate voted to move ahead with a floor debate. And now the real fight begins.
Broken status quo benefitting rich insurance companies?
Will Americas be forced to prop insurance plans?
Who's taxes will go up?
Will the government ration health care?
Extend health insurance coverage to 31 million Americans?
Public Option?
"Free"

I think broken status quo benefits insurance companies to some degree. There is no competition among the insurance comapnies or interstate competition.
Everyone's taxes will go up rather it's your income tax or grocery store tax. It'll be a trickle down effect to every consumer in America.
If we function like health care then yes they will ration health care. There won't be enough doctors to take care of all the sick.
The goal is to extend it to 31 million Americans but it is most likely an unrealistic goal. It's unconstitutional to force people to purchase insurance if they don't have it. It also most likely won't fit in the budget.
Public option is most likely going to be a government run health care system which would entail health care rationing.
Nothing in life is free.
With the status quo being broken, only the strong companies will survive. The Rich companies that have the leeway to make some adjustments will survive while the smaller ones that can't afford to change will not.
The government won't be able to support the health care plan without the people's help. They will need the increase in revenue to be able to hold up a national insurance plan.
The government will have to ration any public health care. If Americans are going to pay for the nation's health care, it can't be abused. It can't be allowed to be milked the way welfare is.
The government will try to get health care to everyone but it is almost a guarantee that not everyone will be able to receive it.
The public option will be a national health care program that is available to anyone but with much less coverage than private insurance and will be rationed.
It will be called free health care but is actually paid for in taxes.
