Afghanistan again? Surge? And Sarah's Comeback?

How many troops will the President send to Afghanistan? And for how long? For five years? Ten? Or should we focus on what the situation is like in a year or so?

What about the Karzai government? How dependable will it be?

Who are the Taliban anyway?

And what about Sarah Palin's book tour? Will this be the beginning of her comeback?

As far as sending more troops to Afghanistan, he may not send any until he sees a more stable government in Afghanistan. During his campaign, he wanted to withdraw from Iraq and boost up the troop numbers in Afghanistan. I think he should send as many as the General requests. This will take about 5-10 years IF he decides to send troops over. We really don't have time to wait another year in Afghanistan.

Hopefully the Karzai government is more legit than the recent election over there. If the U.S. Government gives them some provisions, it might be more dependable than it currently is.

The Taliban is an organized terrorist group of Muslim Extremists wanting to carry out a Jihad.

As long as Sarah Palin's book tour doesn't bash McCain and sticks to her own agenda, it could be the comeback. It gives her time to say who she really is, she didn't have much time to do this during the McCain/Palin Presidential Campaign.

That's why you're the Chief!

Not that I agree with all that stuff.
