The Switch a "wake-up call?"

"One vote, the stimulus package vote, I was ostracized" - Arlen Specter

Veteran Pennsylvania Sen Arlen Specter said Sunday that he hopes his recent switch to the democratic party will serve as a "wake-up call" to an increasingly conservative GOP.

Do you think conservatives have been squeezing moderates out of the GOP? Does it even matter?

I don't think that the GOP is too conservative. Its what they are, CONSERVATIVE. they shouldn't tolerate what they don't believe in. Its better to be hot or cold rather than lukewarm. And it does matter. if they do bend and become "moderate" then i believe that would be very very bad. And must i say, IT could be a "hitler" type scenario when one party has too much power and influence where no one challenges or checks them. Obama is already a celebrity around the world. But i'm not saying he is hitler so don't get mad obama mama.

Hey Chips, What are you taking about?

The Supreme Court? What does this have to do with no moderate Republicans?

Hey Filthy, So happened to the big tent? Sounds like a pup tent to me.
So if they don't agree with you they're out? Whose the "Hitler?"

Hey Stew, Chips has nothing on you!

I definitely read the question wrong the first time I answered, thanks to Matt's pressure on being the first comment...now Stew has nothing on me.
